Flash Friday Guest Post: Change

Everyday she had to paint the walls because they never stayed the same color. The sky was blue, then red, then green. The grass was green, then blue, then black. Nothing stayed the same because nothing wanted to. The only thing that stayed the same was her bedroom walls because she daily painted them pink. She wanted something that never changed in her ever-changing life. The world liked change, but she did not.

  1. I like this — the crazy mood, a different world where the colors won’t sit still, and this girl just wants something to remain static. A frustration well expressed!

    (Though there is a typo — I think you mean the color red, not “read”.)
